Job summary
Motion Industries is seeking a Service Technician II to repair and service hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems in the service shop. You may guide less experienced technicians and support customers with technical questions and quotes.
Typical requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of shop experience. Strong reading of hydraulic schematics and safe operation of shop equipment are essential.

- 3–5 years of shop experience or equivalent.
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics and identify components.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on assigned customer products in the service shop.
- Disassemble, clean, and inspect components for repair.
- Diagnose system components and propose solutions to customers.
- Prepare job forms listing parts and tasks required for repairs.
- Design, fabricate, machine, and weld parts and components.
- Repair hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Assemble new and repaired equipment and test performance.
- Assist customers with technical questions and provide quotes and order entry.
- Build customer relationships to drive repeat business.
- Mentor less experienced technicians.
