Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Service Technician II to repair, service, and build hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. You may guide less experienced technicians and contribute to customer-driven repair solutions.

Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of shop experience, with strong reading of hydraulic schematics and safe equipment operation. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of shop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on assigned customer products in the service shop.
• Disassemble, clean, and inspect components for repair.
• Diagnose system components and propose solutions to customers.
• Prepare job forms listing parts and work required.
• Design, fabricate, machine, and weld parts.
• Repair hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Assemble new and repaired equipment.
• Test equipment for performance and prepare for shipment or storage.
• Assist customers with technical questions to help understand the work.
• Respond to inquiries, provide quotes, and process orders.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business.
• Assist less experienced technicians with addressing customer needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
