Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of shop experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to read hydraulic schematics and electrical/mechanical knowledge.
  • Good communication and safety-conscious operation of shop tools.

Responsibilities

  • Performs maintenance on assigned customer products in the service shop.
  • Disassembles, cleans, and inspects components for repair.
  • Diagnoses components and recommends solutions to customers.
  • Prepares job forms listing parts and required work.
  • Designs, fabricates, machines, and welds parts.
  • Repairs hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Assembles new and repaired equipment.
  • Tests repaired equipment for performance and prepares for shipment.
  • Assists customers by answering technical questions.
  • Responds to inquiries, provides quotes, and handles orders.
  • May handle more challenging inquiries with experience.
  • Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Assists less experienced Service Technicians as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
