Job summary

Superior is seeking a Project Manager to drive electrical construction projects forward at our Ironton jobsite in Ironton, Ohio. This role reports to the Senior Project Manager and is based on a field site with direct interaction with the Superintendent and Foremen.

Responsibilities include managing project schedules, costs, and risk, coordinating with multiple departments, and ensuring timely closeout while maintaining site safety.

Qualifications

• You have at least 4 years of project operations/project management experience in commercial construction or equivalent field operations management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Construction Management certificate.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M to $50M.
• Extensive knowledge in construction management software.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns – and solutions – quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership
• Create and manage the full project schedule from project kickoff to project closeout
• Manage all project finance requirements, including billings, project setup, project buy-out, project cost control, change order management, and cost to complete
• Earn the trust of clients by cultivating relationships, communicating swiftly, collaborating, and solving challenges
• Chair project meetings including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers
• Work with departments across the organization to ensure that project materials are available and in place as needed
• Serve as a key leader and provide clear communication and guidance to all team members
• Understand the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes as needed
• Review all project documents including estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Ensure the timely completion of all job closeout procedures
• Maintain a high degree of safety on our work across the jobsite
