River Cities Engineering in Davenport, IA is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Electrical Supervisor for full-time onsite work. The role oversees bids, planning, scheduling, staffing, and control of commercial/industrial electrical projects.

You will mentor staff, ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery, and coordinate with clients and vendors from Davenport offices. Requirements include a 4-year Industrial Electrician Apprenticeship, Journeyman/Master license, 5+ years’ supervisory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a state-approved 4-year Industrial Electrician Apprenticeship Program.
• Current State Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience on commercial/industrial projects.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to accurately identify and distinguish color-coded electrical wires.
• Ability to comprehend and apply job-related instructions in English, with or without translation.
• Ability to operate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience interpreting NEC and local/state codes.
• OSHA/MSHA safety standards knowledge.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; able to present information clearly.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise field employees on projects.
• Coordinate staffing for service call coverage.
• Review and approve timesheets for payroll.
• Secure and maintain sufficient work to meet billable targets.
• Plan, schedule, and direct project activities to deadlines and budgets.
• Obtain permits and licenses as required.
• Verify subcontractor agreements and insurance compliance.
• Maintain project documentation across all phases.
• Conduct safety inspections and report findings.
• Communicate with HR, clients, suppliers, and consultants.
• Ensure on-site compliance with codes and safety rules.
• Resolve project issues with stakeholders.
