Job summary

River Cities Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support electrical construction projects in Davenport, IA. The role focuses on coordinating project documentation, communication, and administrative tasks across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will manage RFIs, submittals, reports, and turnover documentation while facilitating information flow between project managers, field teams, vendors, and customers. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in project coordination, construction administration, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project setup activities in project management and accounting software.
• Track, maintain, and distribute project documentation across the project lifecycle.
• Manage the submittal process and upload documentation into project systems.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, logs, and WIP reports for active projects.
• Assist with invoice review and billing preparation activities.
• Maintain accurate project records in Rivet and escalate discrepancies.
• Support communication among Project Managers, field teams, and vendors.
• Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and turnover documentation for project phases.
• Track material, equipment orders, permits, and inspections and communicate status updates.
