Job summary

Tri-City Group in Davenport, IA is seeking an Industrial Project Manager to lead on-site administrative and technical management on electrical construction projects within the Industrial division.

You will supervise field crews, manage scheduling, safety, quality, and coordination with customers, A-E representatives, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects meet design, budget, and schedule. This role requires strong detail orientation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalency.
• Journeyman Wireman License.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Electrical Construction Project Management.
• Strong attention to detail, clear communication, initiative and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise total construction effort to meet design, budget and schedule, interfacing with customer representatives and others.
• Participate in estimating and change management, including quantity take-off and review of subcontractor proposals.
• Initiate and provide extra work estimating and issue change orders.
• Assist in selecting subcontractors and vendors.
• Coordinate purchase orders for timely material delivery and project changes.
• Work on-site with the team to monitor crew size, hours, materials, scheduling, and on-site administrative duties.
• Manage productivity of craft workers and contractors, ensuring efficient use of materials and equipment.
• Participate in punch lists, inspections, safety and quality reviews, and document proceedings.
• Provide technical assistance, interpret drawings, and advise on construction methods and equipment.
• Maintain morale and positive relationships with customers and staff.
• Assist in calling on and selling customers on potential projects.
• Perform other assignments as directed by management.
• Travel as needed.
