Job summary

IB Abel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support electrical construction projects by coordinating activities, providing field support, and managing documentation.

This role involves working with Project Managers, customers, subcontractors, and internal teams across office and field sites. You will assist with timesheet review, submittals, RFIs, and project logs while maintaining records in SharePoint and project management software.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating construction projects or related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel between office and project sites.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and MS Project.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project coordination with the Project Manager and field leadership.
• Serve as primary administrative resource in the field office and assist project teams, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Coordinate project startup activities, field labor needs, and project logistics.
• Assist with project correspondence, documentation, and communication between all stakeholders.
• Review and enter weekly field timesheets for payroll processing.
• Prepare, track, and maintain project documentation (submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, logs).
• Maintain project records in project management software and SharePoint.
• Coordinate document routing for approvals and client submissions.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables; communicate issues to PM.
• Assist with onboarding new field personnel and subcontractors to sites.
• Attend project meetings and record action items.
