Job summary

I.B. ABEL INC is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support electrical construction projects from kickoff to closeout. You will coordinate field activities, manage documentation, track schedules, and communicate with teams, customers, and subcontractors.

Regular travel to active job sites and a mix of office and site work are required. Working closely with Project Managers and operations leadership, you will help ensure timely payroll, accurate project records, and compliant

Qualifications

Experience in the contractor industry (Electrical preferred).
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional process management skills.
Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel between offices and job sites.
Proficient in MS Office with strong Excel, Word, and MS Project skills.
Experience with Autodesk Forma Construction Cloud Build is a plus.
Local to Pennsylvania preferred with regular travel to other offices and job sites.

Responsibilities

Support the Project Manager and field leadership with day-to-day coordination of assigned construction projects.
Serve as the primary administrative resource in the field office with project teams, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.
Coordinate project startup activities, field labor needs, and project logistics.
Assist with project correspondence, documentation, and communication among stakeholders.
Review and enter weekly field timesheets for payroll accuracy.
Prepare, track, and maintain project documentation (submittals, RFIs, logs).
Maintain project records in project management software and SharePoint.
Coordinate document routing for approvals and client submissions.
Monitor schedules, milestones, and deliverables; flag issues to PM.
Support compliance and minority participation documentation.
Attend meetings and distribute minutes and action items.
Assist with project closeout documentation and turnover packages.
Onboard new field employees, visitors, and subcontractors to sites.
Coordinate meetings, inspections, and project logistics.
Track permits and inspections; follow up on action items.
