Job summary

Enterprise Electrical is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support electrical construction projects. You will assist the Project Manager with planning, coordination, and daily management, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget while upholding safety standards.

The role involves site visits, document control, meetings, and collaboration with clients, general contractors, and internal teams. APM will help with procurement support and reporting across project phases.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of electrical construction methods and workflows.
• Ability to read blueprints, specs and construction documents.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with construction/PM software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM in day-to-day project operations and administrative tasks.
• Support tracking of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and logs.
• Help organize weekly schedules, manpower, materials, and long-lead items.
• Attend project meetings and prepare notes or action items.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct site walks to verify installation progress and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with field leadership to align goals and execution plans.
• Review purchase orders and invoices for accuracy.
• Prepare weekly summaries and cost-to-complete updates.
