Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC, a Quanta Services company, is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Project Management in safety, planning, scheduling, cost monitoring, reporting, budgeting, estimating, change orders and bid development.

The role involves preparing submittals like Safety Plans and Environmental Plans, and travel to project sites on a regular basis. The candidate will work independently, read mechanical drawings, and coordinate with diverse on-site crews to ensure safety, quality, and

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Experience supporting project management in construction.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project engineering activities comply with contract requirements.
• Report project status and issues to PM promptly.
• Communicate potential changes affecting costs, schedule, or client relations to PM.
• Maintain project record drawings (As-Builts, logs).
• Provide technical support for construction planning and scheduling.
• Update and maintain construction schedule.
• Coordinate with on-site crews to uphold safety and quality while meeting schedule.
• Assist in safety audits and housekeeping.
• Ensure subcontractor work aligns with PO/Contract.
• Prepare and submit safety plans, environmental plans, JSAs, inspection results, weekly progress to Client.
• Travel to project sites regularly.
