Job summary

Everus Construction Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced electrical estimator in Las Vegas, NV to calculate the cost, time, and resources required for electrical projects.

The role requires reviewing historical data, preparing takeoffs, and coordinating the estimating effort for bids. Background checks and drug screening may be required, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and collaboration with owners, A/E, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Two to four years' experience in electrical estimating, cost control, and/or engineering experience in construction.

Responsibilities

• Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man-hour figures.
• Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
• Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work.
• Coordinate total estimating effort relevant to bid/project as assigned.
• Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimates and figures.
• Interface with owner, A/E, and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility.
• Follow awarded contracts as assigned – may include estimating extra work items, change orders, credits; procuring material, etc.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY
