Job summary

Esi Electrical Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator in Boise, Idaho to provide technical estimation from bid preparation through closeout documentation.

Must have 5 years of electrical estimating experience, knowledge of electrical construction, and relevant education. Responsibilities include takeoffs, vendor quotes, pricing reviews, site visits, and bid proposal preparation.

• Quantity takeoff.
• Enter quantity takeoff into estimating software.
• Solicit and review vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Review current material pricing levels.
• Review and estimate addenda as required.
• Visit site and/or attend site walk meeting.
• Draft and submit proposal documents and follow post-bid closeout procedures.
• Attend weekly estimating team meetings.
• Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

Estimators provide technical estimation of electrical projects from bid preparation through job close out documentation to the customer.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A working knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through completion of an electrical training program, two-year technical or business degree or related field; and
• 5 years' experience as an electrical estimator.

• Excellent oral and written communications skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
