Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking an Assistant Electrical Construction Project Manager in San Jose. You will support the Project Manager by coordinating project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and meetings.

You will maintain logs, assist with change orders and subcontractor contracts, and ensure quality control. This role involves site work, collaboration with field staff, and attending client meetings to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is required.
• At least 1 year of construction-related experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and logs.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs and minutes.
• Support Project Manager in planning, coordination and issue resolution.
• Maintain change orders and documentation logs for meetings.
• Prepare contracts for subcontractors and owner manuals.
• Ensure adherence to the project quality control plan.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for documentation and drawings.
• Attend meetings with clients and vendors and provide PM support.
• Assist field personnel and monitor other contractors' progress.
• Create Job Information Sheets and project files.
• Prepare price change orders and project reports.
• Coordinate payroll information accuracy.
