Rosendin Electric is seeking an Assistant Electrical Construction Project Manager in San Jose, CA. The role supports the Project Management team, handling administrative and construction tasks to help manage high-profile projects.

The entry-level PM position emphasizes learning essential duties and developing competency across project documentation, change orders, and coordination with field teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Oversee project activities as assigned by the Project Manager, including planning and coordination.
• Maintain change orders and document control logs; prepare logs for construction meetings.
• Prepare contract submittals accurately and timely.
• Create and issue subcontractors' contracts.
• Assemble and deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
• Ensure compliance with project quality control plan.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for correct Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
• Maintain Warranty Log.
• Attend meetings with clients and subcontractors and provide PM support.
• Assist field personnel in area of responsibility.
• Monitor other contractors’ progress and activities.
• Create Job Information Sheets and Job Files.
• Prepare price change orders and project reports.
• Collaborate with payroll for accurate payroll information.
• Understand duties within the business unit.
