Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space, Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, seeks an Electrical Component Engineer to join our Denver, CO team. You will support hardware design, parts qualification, and supplier coordination for EEEE components used in strategic systems.

You will evaluate new technologies, collaborate with survivability and manufacturing teams, and engage with government agencies. A Top Secret clearance is required; US citizenship is essential.

Qualifications

• Formal coursework, training, or experience in design, analysis, or construction of electrical parts and circuits; knowledge of semiconductor physics and devices such as hybrids, ICs, transistors, diodes and capacitors.
• Knowledge of design, functionality, manufacturing, materials and processes used in EEEE parts.
• Willingness/ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Participate in EEEE Parts Engineering assignments related to hardware design, manufacture and test.
• Participate in selection, qualification, test and failure analysis of EEEE Parts.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, evaluate suppliers and analyze test reports.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement/Supply Chain.
• Work on electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, ICs, hybrids, crystals, oscillators, filters, fuses, heaters, magnetics, microcircuits, relays, semiconductors, thermistors.
• Travel and work with suppliers and government agencies to ensure component selections meet quality and performance requirements.
