Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Denver, CO seeks an Electrical Component Engineer to join the FBM program. You will perform Electrical/Electronic/Electromechanical/Electro-optical parts engineering, support hardware design, qualification and test, and collaborate with design, manufacturing and procurement teams.

Responsibilities include selecting and qualifying EEEE parts, preparing technical reports, evaluating suppliers, and coordinating with government and industry partners to ensure

Qualifications

• Formal coursework/training in electrical parts and circuits
• Knowledge of design, materials and processes for EEEE parts
• Willingness to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Participate in EEEE Parts Engineering assignments related to hardware design, manufacture and test
• Participate in selection, qualification, test and failure analysis of EEEE Parts
• Prepare technical and progress reports, specifications, evaluate suppliers and test reports
• Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement/Supply Chain
• Work on electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, ICs, hybrids, crystals and relays
• Travel and work with suppliers and government agencies to ensure component quality and performance
