Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Denver, CO seeks a Staff Electrical Component Engineer to lead EEEE parts engineering, test, and supplier coordination for space-grade hardware. You will evaluate technologies, mentor juniors, and collaborate with design, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure performance under harsh environments.

The role emphasizes component-level design, qualification, and failure analysis, with a Top Secret clearance and US citizenship required.

Qualifications

Formal coursework, training, experience and/or knowledge in the design, analysis, and/or construction of electrical parts and circuits, semiconductor physics and/or operation of devices such as hybrids, integrated circuits, transistors, diodes and capacitors.
Knowledge of design, functionality, manufacturing, materials and processes used in EEEE parts.
Experience reviewing engineering drawings and/or specifications and providing guidance to design and test teams.
Willingness/ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret; US Citizenship Required

Responsibilities

Lead and participate in Electrical / Electronic / Electromechanical / Electrooptical (EEEE) Parts Engineering technical assignments related to hardware design, manufacture and test.
Lead in the selection, qualification, test, and failure analysis of EEEE Parts.
Prepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks, prepare specifications, evaluate suppliers and analyze test reports
Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement/Supply Chain organization.
Work on electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits (ICs), hybrids, crystals, crystal oscillators, filters, fuses, heaters, magnetics, microcircuits, relays, semiconductors, thermistors.
