Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO, seeks an Electrical Component Engineer to support selection, qualification, and lifecycle management of EEE components used in mission-critical flight hardware. The role collaborates with design, reliability, manufacturing, procurement, and suppliers to ensure performance and mission assurance.

You will perform analyses, evaluate component choices, and help mitigate parts-related risks across programs, with a focus on high-reliability aerospace

Qualifications

• Experience in parts engineering, component engineering, materials engineering, reliability engineering, or a related aerospace/defense discipline.
• Experience evaluating engineering components, materials, or parts for high-reliability applications.
• Working knowledge of EEE and/or mechanical parts and materials.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, manufacturer data, qualification reports, and engineering requirements.
• Ability/willingness to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship required -no clearance required to start

Responsibilities

• Conducts/participates in selection, evaluation, qualification, testing and failure analysis of EEEE components.
• Prepares EEEE Component Source Control Drawings (SCDs) and reviews supplier data.
• Oversees Subcontractor EEEE components and NSARs at PMPCB meetings; reviews drawings and SCDs; participates in failure analysis.
