Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc. Riverside, CA seeks a Commodity Manager (Electrical) to own the end-to-end strategy for high & low voltage systems across the product lifecycle. You will lead sourcing, negotiations, and supplier governance to deliver measurable cost, quality, and delivery outcomes.

You will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance to support new product introduction, stable production, and long-term value creation in a heavy-duty vehicle environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in strategic sourcing or automotive purchasing in manufacturing.
• Experience with cost reduction, TCO, and supplier governance.
• Familiarity with EV/hybrid electrical systems commodities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end multi-year commodity strategy for Electrical items.
• Lead make-versus-buy analyses and supplier evaluations.
• Prepare sourcing cases, price negotiations, and contracts.
• Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and risk management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Planning, and Legal.
• Lead supplier reviews, scorecards, and post-decision follow-up.
• Ensure continuity, capacity planning, and contingency plans.
