Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking a Global Commodity Manager- Electrical to lead strategic sourcing for electrical commodities worldwide. You will own supplier processes, drive cost reductions, and align cross-functional teams to deliver value.

The role requires building and executing sourcing strategies, negotiating Master Supply Agreements, and improving supply base alignment, quality, and inventory turns. Travel to supplier sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 6 years’ experience in strategic sourcing, supplier quality or operational management.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver material cost productivity in COGS.
• Define and communicate commodity and supplier strategies.
• Manage supplier performance and drive improvements using data analytics.
• Develop, negotiate, and execute supplier agreements.
• Champion supplier development and quarterly business reviews.
• Define and communicate the commodity strategy.
• Ensure procurement compliance with regulations and internal practices.
• Evaluate current and new suppliers to improve service levels and reduce total cost.
