Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5-8+ years of experience in commodity category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement.
• Experience managing electrical product categories such as wire & cable preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop and execute a comprehensive commodity category strategy.
• Monitor market dynamics and supply chain risks for commodities.
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage contracts, rebates, and long-term partnerships.
• Drive sourcing initiatives to improve total landed cost, margin, and working capital efficiency.
• Coordinate and close commodity opportunities in response to RFQs.
• Partner with sales to book orders based on market feedback and vendor support.
• Oversee purchasing activities and update POs as shipments arrive.
