Job summary

ENC - ElDorado National California Inc. in Riverside, CA is seeking an Electrical Process Engineer to advance manufacturing processes for LV and HV electrical systems in commercial vehicles.

You will translate designs into production BOMs, drawings, work instructions, and testing procedures, collaborating with design, production, and quality teams. The role emphasizes wiring harness assembly, process improvements, and defect reduction on prototype through production builds.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline required.
• 5+ years of relevant electrical manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience with HV electrical systems in electric or hybrid commercial vehicles.
• Experience developing electrical assembly processes, production BOMs, work instructions, and inspection/test procedures.
• Ability to interpret LV/HV schematics, wiring diagrams, connector pinouts, and CAN bus communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical production BOMs, harness drawings, installation drawings, and work instructions.
• Define assembly sequences, wire routing, connector installation, fastening requirements, and inspection points for LV and HV systems.
• Review electrical designs for manufacturability, serviceability, and error prevention.
• Coordinate engineering changes and ensure production documents reflect revisions.
• Lead root‑cause investigations for electrical manufacturing defects and verify corrective actions.
• Provide hands‑on training to production personnel on electrical assembly, inspection, and troubleshooting.
