Job summary

Aero Simulation, Inc. seeks an Electrical CAD Drafter to produce accurate AutoCAD drawings for electrical components and assemblies.

You will collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical CAD teams to ensure integration with overall designs and meet government and customer specifications. The role requires experience creating system diagrams, wirelists, and cabling drawings, plus strong proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Mid-level to senior experience in aircraft or flight simulation.
• Proven AutoCAD drafting experience for electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical CAD modeling and schematics.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and related tools.
• Detail-oriented with ability to produce complex drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce AutoCAD system prints, cable drawings, and top-level electrical assemblies.
• Create Excel wirelists to support wiring of assemblies.
• Resolve design/documentation issues during production.
• Document changes with engineering change notices.
• Support presentations for customer meetings and design reviews.
• Coordinate with Electrical and Mechanical CAD teams.
• Work on systems like power distribution, grounding, I/O, networking, etc.
• Travel up to 10% domestically/internationally.
