Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) is seeking an ECAD Drafter to design electrical components and complex assemblies using AutoCAD, collaborating closely with Electrical Engineering to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
Responsibilities include creating system diagrams, wirelists, and cable drawings, and supporting production to ensure drawings are accurate and integrated with overall design.

The Electrical CAD Drafter is responsible for drawing and detailing electrical components and complex electric assemblies using AutoCAD software. The ECAD Drafter works closely with Electrical Engineering to produce drawings that are accurate, manufacturable, reliable, and maintainable. The primary products of the ECAD Drafter are system diagrams (schematics), wirelists, cable marking diagrams, and cable drawings with associated parts lists. The ECAD Drafter must also work closely with Electrical Engineering and Mechanical CAD groups to ensure the physical and packaging aspects of the electrical components integrate into the overall design.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
MID – 3 to 7 Years
SENIOR – 7+ Years
As a federal contractor supporting the U.S. warfighter, it is required that all employees in this role be United States citizens in compliance with government contract and security requirements.
Must be able to successfully pass an initial background screening.
