A professional electrical designer with 2-25 years experience overseeing schematic creation, guiding drafting teams, and applying industry practices for electrical system layouts.

  • Responsible for electrical schematics, wiring, and interconnection diagrams, with expertise in AutoCAD or MicroStation.
  • Produces electrical drawings, equipment plans, section views, cable tray, switchgear layouts, grounding, conduit, foundation, and steel details.
  • Applies experience principles, provides guidance to draftsmen, ensures quality and material specifications, and adapts common designs.
  • Understands constructability, field practices, and power system protection; works effectively in team environments.
  • Requires two-year associate degree or similar experience, 5+ relevant work, and strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
