Job summary

Aero Simulation, Inc. is seeking an Electrical CAD Drafter to detail electrical components and complex assemblies using AutoCAD. You will create system diagrams, wirelists, and cable drawings, coordinating with Electrical Engineering and Mechanical CAD teams to ensure integration.

The role requires 3–7+ years in MID or 7+ SENIOR levels, an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent, and the ability to work under government/industry standards. U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with ECAD drafting and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of government/industry standards for electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce AutoCAD system prints, cable drawings, and top-level electrical assemblies.
• Generate Excel wirelists to aid manufacturing.
• Support manufacturing by resolving design/documentation issues.
• Document changes with engineering change notices.
• Assist in customer meetings with design reviews and acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with ECAD and Mechanical CAD teams on integration.
• Handle typical systems such as power distribution, I/O, networking, and safety features.
