Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Five years' experience with specialized software training in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA.
• Aircraft modification background is a plus.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to resolve discrepancies related to rotary and fixed wing aircraft.
• Develop design for components/assemblies for aerospace products using CAD per Military Standards.
• Verify modifications or repairs safely integrate with aircraft systems.
• Ensure conformance to pre-established design parameters.
• Engage in cross functional engineering communication, design, evaluation, and implementations.
• Perform analyses to develop options or recommendations for customer products.
• Review regulatory compliance of aircraft certification projects and safety determinations.
• Evaluate drawings for manufacturability and supportability.
• Prepare and submit research, travel, technical, and other reports.
• Research aircraft components using FEDLog, A-Team, REMIS, EDIS, and manuals.
