Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Electrical Designer to support a multi-disciplinary design team on power generation projects, including renewable scopes. You will lead electrical design tasks, create detailed drawings, and work with 3D modeling data from LiDAR and vendor files.

Collaborate with US and international staff to deliver quality deliverables. The role requires strong CAD skills, familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Plant3D, and field walk downs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with relevant experience or AA/AS with solar PV/BESS experience.
• High level design and CAD skills in electrical design.
• Experience creating drawings like power plans and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and progress electrical designs from feasibility to detail design.
• Prepare electrical deliverables ensuring safety and constructability.
• Create general arrangements, one lines, schematics, plans and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate data sources for 3D models and project workflows.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams across locations.
