Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 6 years of relevant power or industrial experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Experience with design software and standards in power/industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of multiple CAD tools and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Perform as the Electrical and I&C discipline CAD lead for projects of all sizes.
• Oversee the design and preparation of electrical and I&C deliverables while ensuring constructability, safety, and constraints.
• Coordinate drawings and create an integrated digital project content with team members.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop facility designs from feasibility through construction support.
• Lead discipline CAD designer tasks, manage budgets, staffing, and schedules.
• Prepare bills of materials and quantity take offs.
• Utilize laser scans, LiDAR, and survey data for modeling and data management.
• Contribute to proposals and develop group standards.
• Check peers' work and participate in meetings; occasional travel.
