Jacobs in the United States is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to set up and manage Revit BIM models, coordinating with other design leads to produce constructible 3D models and 2D drawings. You will work with Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, applying Jacobs standards and client requirements while resolving clashes and delivering accurate documentation.

Competenze

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of BIM design experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in electrical systems design and the construction industry.
• Growing understanding of codes and standards shape design decisions.
• Understanding design and construction specifications and their function.
• Basic understanding of wiring/cabling connections related to circuits.
• Experience following client design and modeling standards.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to estimate hours for design and modeling efforts from mark-ups or directions.
• Willingness to learn new things.

Mansioni

• Design documentation and setup/management of Revit BIM models in coordination with discipline leads.
• Create and manage content toward fully coordinated 3D models across design disciplines.
• Produce 2D construction drawings and coordinate with engineers, architects and designers.
• Follow Jacobs design methods and ensure clash-free models and deliverables.
