Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to design documentation and manage Revit BIM models for electrical systems in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment. You will produce coordinated 3D models and 2D drawings, coordinating with other designers and engineers to reflect the design intent.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts based on provided mark-ups and/or verbal direction requests.
• Willingness to learn new things.

Responsibilities

• Design documentation and management of Revit BIM models for electrical systems.
• Create and manage fully coordinated 3D models across disciplines (C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L).
• Produce 2D construction drawings and clash-free deliverables.
• Coordinate with discipline BIM leads, architects and engineers to reflect design intent.
