Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Electrical BIM Designer to lead design documentation and BIM model setup in coordination with the electrical discipline team. You will develop and manage Revit models and 2D drawings, ensuring alignment with project standards and clash-free coordination with other disciplines.

You will contribute to 3D models across C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L, supporting the design team with accurate deliverables and tight collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and BIM design experience.
• 3+ years of BIM design experience in electrical systems are required.
• Strong understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Familiarity with Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to estimate hours for design and modeling tasks from markups or directions.

Responsibilities

• Design documentation and setup/management of Revit BIM models in coordination with other discipline leads.
• Create and manage content for fully coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and architects to translate design intent into constructable deliverables.
• Adhere to Jacobs standards and client BIM guidelines; ensure clash-free models.
