Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Production Technician. The hourly rate is $20.50 per hour with eligibility for a variable incentive. Hours are 6AM - 2:30PM. The role involves assembling panelboards/switchboards, wiring, testing, and ensuring quality per drawings and schematics.

Qualifying candidates will have at least 1 year in an assembly role with tools, reside within 50 miles of the site, and will not require visa sponsorship. Benefits include health, vacation, holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in an assembly-related role with hand and/or power tools.
• Residence within 50 miles of the work location; relocation benefits are not offered.
• No immigration sponsorship or work authorization support is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards according to electrical drawings, schematics and work instructions using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance with specs and codes.
• Wire electrical assemblies using tools such as wire strippers and pryers.
• Maintain progress and communicate shortages or issues affecting the area of assignment.
• Prepare finished products for shipment and receive/stock materials.
