Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in Fontana, CA is seeking a Production Technician to assemble sub-assemblies and panelboards, test units, and ensure quality. The role requires use of hand and power tools and adherence to safety standards.

The position offers $23.50 per hour with a variable incentive, medical and vacation benefits from day one, paid holidays, and opportunities for cross-training and career progression. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of assembly experience with hand or power tools.
• Completion of a one-year technical school diploma is acceptable.
• Able to read electrical drawings and follow instructions.
• No relocation assistance; reside within 50 miles of work location.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and switchboards per drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect and test finished products for quality and conformance.
• Wire components using hand and power tools; verify electrical/mechanical integrity.
• Receive and store materials; prepare products for shipment.
• Support Lean 5S initiatives and participate in cross-training.
