Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembly Technician II for the MVA LV Barrier line at its Greenwood, SC facility. The role involves assembling, wiring, and modifying medium and high voltage components per drawings and instructions. Typical schedule is Mon-Thu 4:30 pm–1:30 am and Fri 3:30 pm–7:30 pm, with training on first shift during the initial period.

Base pay starts at $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. A variable pay incentive program is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Skilled with hand and air tools.
• Eaton does not provide immigration sponsorship.
• Within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and modify work per guidelines for HV assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Follow drawings, sketches, and supervisor instructions to established procedures.
• Fill ISO, quality, and production checklists as required.
• Mount electrical equipment and perform wire operations.
• Lift and assemble heavy copper parts; inspect assemblies for defects.
• Respond to change notices and support engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Train and coach colleagues to transfer knowledge.
