Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembly Technician III for the 2nd shift at 517 Puckett Ferry Road, Greenwood, SC. The role involves assembling, wiring, and modifying high/medium voltage assemblies and related components. You will handle heavy copper parts, maintain Kanban, and support engineering and supervision with development work.

Hours are Monday–Thursday 4:30pm–1:30am and Friday 3:30pm–7:30pm. A $1.00 per hour shift differential applies; eligible for variable pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of assembly experience.
• Eaton will not sponsor employment visas or provide CPT/OPT/STEM OPT support.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, fit, and modify complex assemblies.
• Fill out ISO/checklists and production forms for supervision, drafting, and engineering.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations.
• Lift and handle heavy copper parts.
• Maintain Kanban levels and report shortages.
• Inspect assemblies for hardware and cleanliness.
• Respond to change notices and customer requests.
• Assist engineering and supervision with development work.
• Follow manufacturing drawings and instructions.
