Job summary

Facilities Maintenance Management, LLC. (FMM) seeks motivated Electrical Apprentices to join our team in Louisiana. You will assist the lead Electrician with servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing electrical components on commercial construction projects and ensure work complies with local codes.

This role requires learning from leads, reading blueprints, and using testing devices safely. You will work with power tools, install wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures while

Qualifications

• Adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations and client/company policy.
• Proficient in using power tools and electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout and install electrical wiring per specs and codes.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and components.
• Test electrical systems and continuity with meters and scopes.
• Use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes for safety and compatibility.
• Inspect systems for hazards and code compliance.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Install wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures.
• Collaborate with other trades to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow PPE rules.
