Job summary

Facilities Maintenance Management seeks motivated Electrical Apprentices to support commercial and residential projects in Louisiana. You will assist the lead Electrician with wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and installations, while learning NEC standards and safety practices.

You'll gain hands-on experience with high/low voltage systems, read blueprints, and work with a range of power tools and testing devices. Commitment to safety and teamwork is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations and ability to follow client and company policies.
• Familiarity with NEC and electrical principles for commercial/residential settings.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead Electrician with planning layout and installation per codes.
• Inspect systems and troubleshoot to locate faults and safety issues.
• Test circuits and components using testing equipment to ensure function and safety.
• Install wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures as directed by lead Electrician.
• Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with teammates and other trades to complete projects on time.
