Job summary

Facilities Maintenance Management (FMM) is seeking motivated Electricians to join our team for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing or installing electrical components on commercial construction projects in Louisiana. The role requires adherence to safety codes and ability to read blueprints and diagrams.

Candidates should have 3+ years in the electrical trade and a HS diploma. Responsibilities include planning layouts, wiring installations, testing systems, and collaborating with other

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Must adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the electrical trade.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regs and reading client/company policy.
• Ability to handle multiple projects following FMM core values.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout and installation of wiring, equipment or fixtures per job specs and codes.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Test electrical systems for safety and functionality using testing devices.
• Inspect systems to identify hazards and ensure code compliance.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Install and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential settings.
• Collaborate with other trades to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Ensure safe work area and comply with site safety rules.
