Genuine Parts Company, via its Motion Industries division, seeks an Account Specialist-Electrical to drive direct customer sales and cultivate relationships around electrical products. You will tailor solutions, present proposals, and develop bids to meet business goals.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or GED with industry and sales experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to multitask while maintaining focus on ROI opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; sales experience helpful.
• Knowledge of industrial products including power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic and mill supply.
• Knowledge of supply chain systems.

Responsibilities

• Sells directly to customers and develops relationships.
• Assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate products and solutions.
• Generates new business, cross sells, and repeat sells to customers by developing sales strategies and managing relationships.
• Develops and delivers sales bids, proposals, and presentations and conducts product demonstrations.
• Works with Branch Manager to provide business planning to reach product and sales goals.
• Prioritizes time and efforts to maximize ROI and targets.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
