Job summary

Exelon is seeking an engineer to develop designs, drawings and bills of material for utility infrastructure projects across generation, transmission and distribution systems. You will coordinate with internal teams and external customers, applying engineering standards and delivering practical solutions.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, CAD skills, and a valid driver’s license. On-site work and potential after-hours support may be required to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to analyze electrical and mechanical systems and apply problem-solving approaches.
• Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles and practices.
• Proficient CAD and related design tools; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develops designs, layouts and bill of material for complex utility infrastructure projects.
• Interprets standards and consults on technical solutions for customers and internal teams.
• Assists with project planning, scheduling and design verification activities.
• Supports field engineering and ensures compliance with engineering criteria.
