Job summary

Hooper is seeking a detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to support procurement and administrative operations for the Electric Power division. You will source and purchase materials, obtain vendor estimates, and maintain accurate records of orders and inventory.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment as you coordinate deliveries and track material flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-5+ years purchasing experience required.
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Request, obtain, and evaluate estimates from vendors for materials required by the Electric Power division.
• Purchase materials and supplies in accordance with project specifications and budget requirements.
• Track and monitor order status from placement through delivery to ensure timely receipt.
• Log and document all received materials in inventory management system.
• Schedule and coordinate material deliveries with vendors and internal teams.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
