Job summary

Hooper is a long‑standing electric power and mechanical contractor with offices in Colorado. This role manages purchasing and logistics for tools used by the Electric Power Division, coordinating with Project Managers and field leadership to ensure each job has the required tools at cost‑effective prices.

Responsibilities include tracking tool locations, maintaining supplier relationships, and developing a scalable tool-purchasing system while ensuring accurate records and timely transportation

Qualifications

• Two-year business related associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Experience in inventory control and/or purchasing is preferred.
• Working knowledge of inventory management and purchasing procedures.
• Strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient personal computer skills and a valid driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a system for purchasing and tracking tools.
• Maintain proper inventory of tools and supplies for in-house stock.
• Coordinate transportation of tools to and from job sites.
• Ensure tool inventory documents and computerized records are accurate and complete.
• Keep track of tool needs on job sites in consultation with Project Managers and field leadership.
