Job summary

Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing/Logistics Coordinator to support procurement activities, vendor coordination, material movement, and delivery requirements for power generation and energy-related operations.

This permanent, full-time role serves as a key link between Purchasing, Suppliers, Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Warehouse, and Project Management to ensure timely delivery of critical materials and services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or a related field; preferably manufacturing.
• Proven experience in managing complex logistical operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and procurement of goods and services.
• Prepare, process, and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth shipping and delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
• Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality.
• Create and maintain inventory of all incoming and current supplies.
• Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
• Work with team members and procurement manager to complete duties as needed.
