Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Training and OJT program leader to optimize practices and policies, directing crews and apprentices while ensuring safety, reliability and efficiency. This role requires directing trainers, coordinating with multiple departments and managing union relations to support business goals.

The position emphasizes leadership, program management and strong communication, with a focus on delivering effective training and development across the distribution operations footprint.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of internal utility experience or equivalent external industry experience.
• Supervisory experience is evaluated after the interview; internal candidates with 2-3 years of supervisory experience may not require an assessment.
• External candidates without internal supervisory experience will be required to complete the Supervisory Assessment if selected to move forward.
• Candidates meeting the 4-7 years of utility experience requirement will be advanced for further review.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct training and OJT activities to ensure safety, reliability, and performance goals.
• Foster a high-performance, learning culture; provide coaching, training, and performance evaluation.
• Facilitate open communication and address employee concerns; collaborate with other departments.
• Manage Union/management relationships and engage local union stewards for the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Work within departmental budgets; plan resources, schedule training, and assess effectiveness.
• Oversee large-scale training projects and program administration.
