Puget Sound Energy seeks an experienced leader to oversee electric distribution and transmission operations. You will direct planning, resource deployment and emergency response, ensuring safe, reliable service while managing budgets and guiding a skilled team.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a track record in operational excellence within the electric utility sector.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent; journey-level electrical worker certification.
• 7 years utility operations experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational and budgeting skills.
• Solid safety knowledge for electrical workers.
• Familiarity with NERC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication; team leadership.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing and databases.
• Experience with CLX, SAP, OMS or DMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electric distribution and transmission operations.
• Direct planning, organization and deployment of resources.
• Ensure safety, compliance and reliable system operation.
• Oversee training, development and budgeting for the department.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
