Job summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a senior leader to direct electric distribution and transmission operations, ensuring safe, reliable and cost-effective performance. You will oversee planning, deployment of resources and emergency response for PSE’s electric system.

In this high-visibility role, you’ll manage budgets, drive safety culture, and collaborate with internal teams and service providers to sustain service quality and compliance with NERC standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, 2 years technical school or college, journey-level qualified electrical worker certification; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 7 years utility/business experience in operations.
• Demonstrated ability in operations, financial management, organization and planning, as well as operational understanding of major utility functions.
• Knowledge of NERC standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and team development with coaching and feedback.
• Oversee budgeting, planning and scheduling of work and staffing to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with standards, procedures and codes; develop emergency response plans.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders and customers to maintain high service reliability.
