Consumers Energy in Michigan is seeking Electric Operations Leaders to guide safe, reliable, and cost-effective electric service. Roles range from Supervisor to Executive Director, with placement based on education, leadership, and business needs.

Successful candidates bring strong communication, budgeting, and regulatory compliance experience, plus background in transmission, distribution, metering, or related utility functions. Relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Technical, Utility Operations, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in electric transmission, electric distribution, electric metering, utility operations, construction, maintenance, field service, engineering support, or related utility functions.
• Demonstrated leadership experience leading employees, crews, teams, projects, or operational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Leading electric operations teams responsible for construction, maintenance, customer service, emergency restoration, outage response, and system reliability.
• Driving safety excellence and ensuring adherence to company policies, work methods, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Leading emergency response and storm restoration efforts, including participation in ICS roles and on-call rotations.
