Qualifications

• Associate's degree, 2 years technical/journey-level electrical certification or equivalent.
• 7 years of utility/operations experience.
• Leadership, financial acumen and planning skills for utility ops.
• Safety requirements for electrical workers understood.
• Knowledge of NERC standards and regulatory compliance.
• Strong staff supervision and program implementation abilities.
• Effective communication with diverse internal/external groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and manage planning, resources and operations for electric distribution and transmission.
• Oversee safety culture, training and performance reviews for the work unit.
• Develop and manage department budget including service quality indices.
• Plan work, schedule personnel and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with standards, procedures and safety rules.
• Establish workforce management systems and monitor productivity.
• Maintain knowledge of construction methods and new technologies.
• Lead cross-functional teams and emergency response initiatives.
